DISCLAIMER: This test has not been calibrated to the same level of precision as a hearing test performed at our clinic and should not be considered to be a good substitute for a hearing test performed by a professional. Studies show that online hearing tests do not adequately assess hearing, but may be able to detect some forms of hearing loss (Bexelius et al 2008, Barczik J, Serpanos YC, 2018)

Caution should be exercised in the interpretation of these results as multiple factors play a role in how accurate an online hearing test can ever be, including the type of headphones used, the amount of background noise present in the room where the test was taken, to name just a few.

We recommend that you do not assume this test is correct until having your hearing tested by a qualified hearing care provider.
